HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Pain at the any joint may be related to the muscles in the joint, ligaments or the bone itself (arthritis?).

If the pain continues despite treatment and rest then you would need to consider seeing your doctor so that an x ray can be done.

The aleve can be continued for now but if there is no change at all, you may need a prescription for a stronger pain killer.
The other aspects of treatment include: (1) rest (restrict movements), (2)protect the affected areas from further injury,
(3) if the pain started recently then ice therapy can be used, if not then a warm compress

(4)a voltaren rub can be added to the aleve to see if this helps
I hope this helps
